Hey all. I need a replacement spring for a Plymouth 111 mod. 40. Dont have a parts gun. Is there some other source for a spring that will work in this old Red Ryder. Looking for a simple and cheap cure.

Yep. it will have several inches of preload; on the 1938B, 105 Buck, etc. the installed height/length is 6".

I have used a calculator to determine the spring rate of
several different springs. What I'm looking forward to seeing is which of the two will be the stronger shooter. Red Ryder current production, bought recently · 14.222 Lbs/In o
43 Lbs/In @ 4” cocked height o
14.2 @ 6” “installed

Plunger spring aka “111” spring, from JG Airguns · 10 lb/in o

height o

height” |
