Are there other models that used the same pattern plastic forearm? I know the 111-40 didn't use a forearm band, but I'm just not sure if the pattern stayed the same. The idea is to replace a warped 111-40 forearm with a forearm from a different model.
Thanks in advance for any help with this! Mark

I do not have a parts list for the 111-40 with plastic forearm to come up with a part number to compare with other models. but if this helps? ..... INFO I HAVE,
111-40 with wood forearm - (1951 parts list) , part # 1113 RED RYDER 94 carbine - (1958 parts catalog) plastic forearm , part # A1113 FROM SAME 1958 PARTS CATALOG , ALL MODELS USING PLASTIC FOREARM PART # A1113 .... 965 - RED RYDER CORK BALL GUN 75 - DAISY SCOUT 80 - DAISY LONG RIFLE SO CERTAINLY USED SAME PARTS IN DIFFERENT GUNS. DO NOT KNOW THE PART # FOR WHAT YOU REFERENCED HOWEVER. RICK |

PARTS LIST FOR 311 TARGET SET.... these sets had the transition red ryder models with plastic forearm.
FROM 1951 PARTS CATALOG
NOTE REFERENCE TO PLASTIC FOREARM WITH SAME PART NUMBER AS WOOD FOREARM... ALSO THE IMAGE FOR THE PARTS LIST IS THE ORIGINAL 111-40 PARTS LIST. EVEN SHOWS THE FOREARM BAND, BUT NOTE IT IS NOT LISTED IN THE PARTS LIST. Also note, the image shows a wooden stock SINCE there never was a plastic stock made like that. I WOULD BET THE PLASTIC FOREARM YOU SEEK IS SAME AS THE 94 CARBINE... MAYBE SOMEONE WHO HAS BOTH 311 SET AND 94 CAN CONFIRM THAT. ![]() |

Mark,
The forearm was the same for the various models, from the 111-40 transition RR and the 94 RR in the 50's, to the 111 in the 70's. They used the same forearm with the checkering and bullseye design with the lettering "IT'S A DAISY" surrounding the forearm screw. The only variation is in the color of the plastic in use at the time.
