I thought I might as well start with a model 10, less barrel to cut down vs. a red ryder. One thing on these little spring guns is, I can't complain on the quality for the price, I never had one missing pieces, non functioning or even break down after thousands of shots, they seem to get better with use. The fit and finish is also at a high level for the money. I've purchased some higher end air guns lately with all kinds of issues both functional and appearance wise.

You're right on all counts. They just work, time and again.
As far as using the model 10, when I use the model 105 Buck I don't get a forearm and band. I have to buy them from Daisy or take them from RR's. |
