I need some help! can some one tell Me when daisy quit using leather seals on #25, and are the leather plunger assembly,s still available. Thanks.

Daisy quit making the leather seals around 1954 when the model 25 went to the simple engraving, ramp front sight and peep v notch rear sight. Basically when they stopped making the 1936 style mod 25 which had fancy engraving, was painted and had the plastic stock in 1954. You can get the leather seals from ebay sometimes or JG airguns but they want way too much. He has a BS minimum amount before you can check out and then here come the shipping charges. I make my own seals and buy my leather from a saddle maker for cheaper than they sell them. Haven't made any in a while as I need to get a new set of tools. I think there are some other great folks here on the site that make them too.
