Don't know if anyone noticed but the RedRyder 80th anniversary gun is being sold by Walmart. Retro box, 80th anniversary destination on forearm and a medallion on the left side of the stock. You might think this is more expensive but the price is the same as any RR they sold in recent history. Around here they are $24.99.

That's where I got mine from. With all the ones for sale on ebay right now, Daisy must have made a million of these, except for the rare 1 of 1000 which they didn't really make any. I'm convinced the sellers of these "rare" examples had an accomplish out there making bids on those to get others to join in. Future collectible? Probably not but still a fun little bb gun for $25.

Yes Sir Mr.Zipper. I concur. Maybe I'll send a letter to Santa myself. Wouldn't mind finding one (ot two) under my tree this year. No better way to celebrate an 80th anniversary than to terrorize a few coke cans. Agree?

$25 Red Ryder is a heck of a buy. If I collected, I'd for sure put back an 80th! Amazon was, and may still be, selling Bucks for $9.00. Great gift for a youngster. Heck, I shoot mine quite often. Good size to grab and go.

Interesting lever for a buck.

I put a HP spring in it, so I wanted to use a metal lever but I didn't have a spare straight metal lever to use as a replacement for the plastic stocker. So I decided to temporarily use a curved metal lever until I came across a straight metal one. But after using it, I found it works fine and the looks doesn't bother me like at first.

I might have an OLD straight one around if you need it. I used to salvage them from the pop guns. |

I will definitely keep that in mind- thanks! For now though, the curved one is okay.
