Daisy 1938B Red Ryder Commemorative

   I have a Daisy Model 1938B New in the box with a repro comic book and all the books and safety pamphlet.  It is apparently a commemorative edition because it has a walnut stock, a medallion (copper) on the right side of the stock and the Red Ryder logo on the left side.  It has the leather strap and a safety and has never been fired.  The box is in perfect condition and as new.  There is one strange thing that I don't understand though, the box is stapled and apparently as it was shipped, but the printed side is inside and bright and perfect but what you see as it is is the brown cardboard side with a label that describes the gun and says it includes a free red ryder comic book inside.  Does anyone know what I have here and what it should be worth.  The serial number is 89196521 and it is BRAND NEW.  Thanks in advance for any information as to its value.  I want to sell this gun.

	What ive heard is - Daisy used to fold the box inside out when sending the guns overseas (at least thats what happened to Buffalo Bill Red ryder that i found in England, and the original owner told me this story)... You have a 50 year anniversary model 1938b (mfg 1988). Blue book gives up to $125 for it. Real Market value may and will be different (cant really tell up or down).

	Info. If the medallion only has 1938 and not 1938 - 1988 then you have the 1938-B Classic not the 50th Anniversary . I believe that the 50th anniversary model came out in 1988. [model 1938-C] It had a walut stock/forarm and came with a life time warranty, it came with a strong box and a medallion 1938-1988 The 1st "Classic" came out in 1989 and included a replica of a Red Ryder comic book and had a medallion 1938 The 2nd "Classic" version came out in 1990 and included a Treasur Chest of bbs, medallion-1938. -Model [1938-B] as was the 1st version The This is the information I have.
