In a antique mall today I came across a gold colored plastic little scope made in Plymouth Mich.
It was $10 bucks so I could not pass it up. It is 11 inches long and 1 inch in diameter. No caps or bracket but the optics are crystal clear. Anyone know anything about it? Not sure I needed it but I do now own it. I just have a hard time passing up anything Daisy and made in Plymouth. Any info is appreciated. Rick |

IIRC a scope/sight like that was once used on one model of the Daisy toy pop guns. I'll look and see if I have any photos...
This is what I have found so far. If I find more I'll post them. Here's another one: I haven't looked through this folder in ages, so I'm glad you mentioned that sight. The Daisy toy pop guns were neat! |

That looks like it. The made in Plymouth was the interesting part for me. I had a hunch it might be for a pop rifle.
I just had not encountered one before. The mount was different than anything I had encountered before also. I appreciate the info on it. Now I know. Thanks again. Rick |

So Rick, it actually has lenses? Does it magnify? That's cool and something I never knew- I had thought they were a sort of peep/ghost sight like some of the other tube sights Daisy used.

Yes, it does have magnification of I am guessing of 2 or 3 X. I was surprised at it and is clear as a bell.
It did not have any cross hairs and that led me to believe it was for a pop rifle. It was so different I just could not pass it up for $10 bucks and from Plymouth. I am just a sucker for anything Daisy from Plymouth in nice shape. Rick in TX |

Thanks Rick. That's wild! I have no doubt you got it for way less than it's actual worth, too. Well done!
