Is the Daisy High Chaparral Model 694 Rifle a BB rifle or a pop/cap gun?

Thanks

If memory serves, the 694 designation is for a toy pop gun. The DAISY Airgun Collector's Guide doesn't list a 694 BB rifle either. Maybe others on here have a better feel for it.

If I'm not mistaken some were pop or pop/smoke and at least one shot small (maybe 7/16"-1/2", leaning towards 1/2") cork balls. For a cork ball gun (ETA- model 894) look for a functional loading gate and a spring loaded ammo follower on the right side.

This is a pop gun version:

The cork shooter had a gold forearm and barrel band IIRC.

694 is a smoke Bang play rifle... Just a Noise maker ... I will post the instructions and tag for it if you want to see it.
Did not shoot any corks or projectiles ...  Cork Shooting version was the 894 .... see my previous posts for the instruction/hang tag for 894...  search forum for"894 cork"

Thanks Jackdog. A lot of the Daisy collectors are not interested in the Daisy toy stuff. I liked collecting them as much as the bb guns. Sad to say there is not a lot of info out there on them

I always wondered why there are no "pop" guns and cork guns listed in the DAISY Airgun Collector's Guide. I was hoping it would be more inclusive. After all, it lists "Soft Air" guns. I also hoped that it would have an up-dated edition out by now. The one I have is from the 2nd printing, and that is from 2015! Maybe they will have one updated by 2020 making it a 5 year interval.
