Daisy Model 179

   Hi Daisy gang , is there any tips for working on a 179 ? , I got a one today in pieces , everything nice but I haven't worked on one of these in over 40 years , seems like things wanted to spring out when you tried to put the two haves together and there was a way to do it .....well without putting your eye out . Any hints would be great and so far all I think I need is a left grip and a small screw for the frame in front of the ejector ( if it had one ) , thanks for any help .
