Brand new to the forum.  Joined to try to get info and hopefully locate for purchase an air rifle I had as a kid in the mid-sixties.  From internet pictures I've seen today, I think it may have been a model 250, a break barrel pellet rifle.  An old ad I've seen online, though, only notes it in .22 caliber, and I'm sure mine was .177.  Go to ebay and search with "daisy model 250" and you'll see that ad.  That's how I remember the looks of my gun.

So for anyone who may know, 1) was that model made in .177 about 1966; 2) if not, what model am I likely looking for; and 3) how can I purchase a good-condition vintage one?

Thanks!

I have one with a solid wood stock that will destroy a cinder block at 25-30 yards . It is in .22 Caliber and the front sight is "Hooded".

This is a very old posting. Better to start a new thread.
