I just got a friend's Daisy 799 to fix (for free of course): very unreliable BB feed and HORRIBLE accuracy even at 10 ft!
This gun is labeled as a Sears & Roebuck Model 799-19120. It IS rifled! I see all sorts of variants when looking for info on schematics and fix-it vids, SOME of which look to apply to this gun, many others do not. ANY HELP APPRECIATED! The owner wants the gun to work reliably os he can give it to his grandkids, though the length of pull will be a hassle for small kids....

The Sears 799.19120 is considered a model 1894 with a few things that Sears did to call it their own. This is what the gun should look like without the scope and scope rail. It has the forearm painted black in front of the band which is a Sears added item and identifiable by that. Some of them had silver colored hammers, triggers and loading gates on them.
Are you going to take it completely apart and rebuild it? They are considered more delicate than some of the other Daisy models. A lot more moving part inside than others. Dennis
