If you are talking about the Daisy #8 squirt gun, It was patented June 22,1915. I have one i bought for $12 have seen them in antique stores for up to $75. Sold new for about 10 cents

the model 8 single shot with a black stock was made for Wal-Mart by Daisy in 87-88, it is probably worth about $125-150 in the box

Am also looking for info on the Daisy model 8 .22LR. I don't think it was built in the 80's as the FedFirearms laws of 1968 would have prevented them from being sold....since they had no serial numbers. I think they had to be built prior to 1968. What is the present value of a black plastic stock unit in good to excellent shape? thanks, Rich

W9NWQ,
According to the Blue Book of Gun Values, 25th Edition, Daisy made the model 8 single-shot .22 rifle for Wal-Mart only in 1987 and 1988. 30K were manufactured. In 1987 Daisy assembled them from leftove Iver Johnson parts. Value ranges from a low of $55 to as high of $175. |

I recieved a Daisy model 8 for my tenth birthday in Aug. 1987. It's still still in really good condition and it is one of the most accurate .22's that I have ever fired. |

I know this thread is ancient, but I am on the hunt for a model 8. Anyone want to sell one? I had 1 as a kid and the firing pin wore out and it cost too much to have 1 made for it soI got rid of it.
