Here's a listing I just published on CRAIG'S LIST, TOLEDO, under "Daisy Pop gun, fake BB gun" Here's a Daisy POP GUN that NEVER appears for sale.Extremely limited version. The gun is an imitation of the famous 1894 Winchester. Has gold receiver sides with the word DAISY, and a picture of a buffalo. Gun cocks, fires, and sounds like the real thing. No BB...no, you won't shoot your eye out ! Want more pics or more information? Ask I've sent pics and asked for info to Bakers Airguns and COWBOY PAPA, and several others...no answers from anyone. Ever see one ? Any information? HELP !!!! (Note...I can't post pics here...sorry)

I believe it came out around '61, give or take. At least some had smoke and bang.

Marv, about a year ago pabirdman had one for sale on GB along with maybe a model 95 as a package deal. It wasn't too costly but the receiver (gold/brown) halves had fair sized chunks broken away. I have never seen a pristine one with that particular gold/brown graphic on it for sale but I've seen the occasional plain receiver specimens up for grabs.

Can you tell me the origin of this pic? I have consulted Howard May (Cowboy PAPA) and Dennis Baker. Neither has ever seen one. Is this your box and gun? Can't find ANY thing on Google. Marv

Sadly it's not mine. It was found in a google image
search for 'daisy model 694'. The photo was from an auction site, here.
For posterity: Item Description Original illustrated cardboard box has graphics of John Russell as Marshal Dan Troop and Peter Brown as Deputy Johnny McKay on two sides. Box contains 33.75" long rifle w/plastic stock, designed as "Spittin' Image Of The Great Model 94 Winchester." Daisy model #694, 1961. Box has lt. scuffs and creasing w/a few color rubs. Box has 1" tear/puncture on one side panel, two loose (one included) inner tabs and another partial torn. VG overall. Comes w/aged and heavily worn instruction booklet. Rifle cocks and fires, but no smoke action. Breech has small 3/8" crack on top and 1/8" crack/chip at bottom where it meets fore stock. Gun appears unused and retains a Fine appearance w/original string tag around lever. Nicely designed w/rare box. ![]() |

Steve,
You and I must have the only 2 on the planet. Just contacted Stu Gabriel (Mrgun)...he said he has never seen one and has no info. Suggested I contact Daisy Museum. More Monday after the call.... |
