I have an old Daisy fishing pole, it is 61/2 feet long the white rod is square with a cork handel and is signed Wright & McGill. I never knew daisy made fishing poles. Does anyone out there know anything about this pole?

I do not know the specifics of your pole, but I do know that there was a time in the late 60s and early 70s when Daisy was aligned with the Heddon company which made fishing equipment.  I have even seen a BB gun and a fishing pole packaged together.
