I recently picked up a Daisy model 25 manufactured in Plymouth, Michigan that I’m pretty sure is around a 1936 model. The air tube was missing and the leather seals were deteriorated. I ordered a new air tube assembly and leather seals from JG Airguns. I haven’t received them yet but the description said to oil the leather seals prior to installing them. What is the best way to do this? Soak them over night or a few drops as I reassemble? Also, I have always used 20W oil in my other Daisy’s, will this be fine for these leather seals as well?

Thanks!
