Have decided to list separate but at the same time when I put them up for auction. Reason is I feel if someone wants both they  will bid on both of them

I'd be tempted to try and sell them together at a premium. I'd bet that there are some collectors that have neither and want both.

I am still on the split sale side. Either one is a rare commodity.
Would probably be easier to find someone looking for one than a pair.
Still for someone with some cash the ability to get BOTH of these at once could draw a premium.

That depends. What models are they? I have found that separating items usually maximizes their value. But if a real collector didn't have either he/she may pay a premium to have them both in one fell swoop.
