Does anyone have (or seen) a Daisy #25 with 'war' graphics on the side?
Saw one today, tried to get some pictures but they didn't come out. Even in person they are hard to see.
They are on the right side only of a plastic stocked Dasiy, Reg#L767966
I would call the paint a dark bronze color.
I could make out a soldier and a tank in the scene.

I have never seen this before and wondered if it was from the factory or something someone added. It looked like the stenciled scenes on #25 but not Ducks. It was at an auction and had a cork tube in it. A fellow collector ended up with it.

Hmmmmmmm. Never seen anything like it and never even heard of anything like it. Sure would love to see pics of it if your friend would consent to sending them.

If it's factory, It would have to be uber rare. Any chance the new owner will post photos or link to same?

Will try to get something.
May take awhile.
Even with the gun in your hands they are hard to see.

As I recall it is a Rogers gun so yes it could have been produced during the Vietnam war but not sure if it was made in that period.
Anyone good at picking a date from the Reg#?

If that gun was made post 1972, the reg. # places it's manufacture date as Dec. of 1977. If it is a 25 made in 1977 it would have a Monte Carlo style stock.
If it was made before 1972 the reg. # is not much of a help to regular Joes, like me. Mr. Garber could tell you the day it came off the line.Tongue

It is not the newer Monte Carlo stock so must be earlier.

Hope these show up.
No graphics on the left side, only the right.
Manufacture date is around September 1958.
