Been looking at these and it appears there's at least 2 different configurations- is this correct? Do all 1200 have adjustable rear sights (I think top gun adjusts for elevation only but wanted to be sure)? Of the 2 below, which is newer? Is one 'better' than the other?

Thanks in advance.

I don't really think of my BB guns as shooters.......except for the 1200. It is surprisingly accurate. I'm a big fan. I knew of three variants before reading your revelation of the 1205. Shocked Now I know of four. The earliest 1200's had lighter colored grips, fully adjustable rear sights, and a little window on top of the receiver to check your BB supply. The second var. was identical but for the loss of the little window. The third var. had darker grips and.....as I recall no adjustability in the rear sight. Could be wrong. I have not had one of those in years. They all were basically the same otherwise and all shot very well. I don't bother with the var. 3 1200's any more. The pistol is accurate enough to make an adjustable rear sight worth it.
All I'm for is the liberty of the individual.

Thanks for that info- it helps.

FWIW II, there was also a chrome and silver painted version (photos from ebay, red dot jerry rigged by someone):
