I just bought a Daisy Model 95 that is 3" shorter that the other mod 95s that I have. Also, it doesn't have a front sight. My first thought was that the barrel had been cut off and someone had used a shot tube from a different model. The loading port is factory perfect and is the exact distance from the end of the barrel as the normal mod. 95.
Did Daisy make a short version of the mod. 95 or is this a very professional alteration? Thanks, Al

My 95 is about 35" long, LOP is about 12.75". The shot tube is 11.75" long overall, from the outside of the muzzle cap to outside of the threads where it screws into the abutment. Those measurements should let you know if, and where, the gun was modified.
BTW, I have read that the very first model 95 was 37" OAL but never seen one to check. Good luck.

The short mod 95 measures 32" end to end and my normal mod 95 measures 35". Probably someone cut 3" off the barrel, drilled the loading port and used a no. 102 mod 36 shot tube. The mod 36 shot tube is 8 3/4" long and the regular mod 95 shot tube is 11 3/4" long. That is exactly 3" difference. Al

That would explain the missing front sight.
