Thank you Steve for those kind words, yes the chase has finished and it's been a very exiting 20 years
+ have spoken to many Daisy collectors over the years from the US and all have been very helpful Yes birthday next month add another year onto my 70. So time to bring it to an end, finding Daisy's here in the UK is very hard, and to buy international almost impossible. It's been fun. Regards Brian

Hello to you Daisy Nuts, me included. Speaking of birthdays, in July of course, mine is the 16h, close to you guys also, just a wee bit older than you two. I am also at the same point of time, slowly trying to pass along ,my Daisy collection to a good home, about 50 guns remaining and a few other Daisy memories. The last piece to go, most likely will be the original Encyclopedia of Daisy, Plymouth Guns, also signed by Gary Garber 2007. I have really had a fun run with Daisy, starting with my first Daisy, the Defender Model 142 which I got for Christmas in 1952. I have also enjoyed the Daisy Talk means of learning and also selling some Daisy's.

I'm about where you guys are only older. I sold off all but a few Daisy's and some pellet guns which i 'm planning on putting up for sale in the near future. I have been at this since the early 1960's, it's been a long run. I'm glad we have a good knowledgeable younger group on this forum to keep it going.

I will agree this is an important and valuable book, however I'm doubtful it will fetch this kind of money, maybe I'm wrong.
I also have this book in my collection, and will be offering it up for sale down the road. I will be checking the listing to see how the bidding is going. Good Luck Brian!! Louie LeMaster Las Vegas, NV |

I too am down sizing significantly. I never was in this thing as a collector. I just like to shoot and play. Daisy BB/pellet guns are lots of fun. I've sold off all but our shooters and a couple stragglers that I can't help but buy at the flea when I see them for cheap. They need to go as well......right after I fix 'em up and play a bit. Karen and I used to have well over 100 and sold them on an online store. Them days are over but the fun will go on. This place is fun too!

None of us really own these things. We just get to possess them for a little while before we pass them on.
