I had some of those and from what I remember some had round barrels and some octagon barrels.Some of them had a painted gold color on the receivers and some had a plated gold color look on the receivers. They were really cool looking rifles Stevec |

What's the difference between the Sears/Daisy 1894 Golden Spike vs the Sears/Daisy Golden Boy?
They seem to be exactly the same, other than the Golden Spike would appear to have the gold color plated on vs being painted on with the Golden Boy. The Golden Spike say it is a centennial rifle. Were they made at the same time or different times? Any other difference? Were either big sellers for Sears? Thanks
