Is there such a thing as a Daisy Red Ryder Model 403 as listed on ebay?

Don't know where the Seller got that number. At least no Red Ryder??

Model: 400 rotary Red Clip 1972-73
Model: 404 rotary Black Clip 1974-76

Nothing between them I can find.

Marv, that gun looks to be a 1946 No. 111 Model 40 Red Ryder, with fixed rear sight and an iron lever. At least that's my best guess.

MarMar: I think you are spot on. Like I said before, 403 is no Red Ryder I have ever heard of.

The Red Ryder was sold.  I messaged the seller two times and asked him to verify the model number. He responded both times with a very emphatic MODEL 403 !!!!

It's not too easy to make it out, but it is marked "NO. 111 MODEL 40". Where the seller gets '403' from is beyond me.
