When I first became interested in the Daisy hobby, in addition to guns, I collected various BB containers (mostly tubes and cellos). That of side of the hobby sort of stalemated until I retired. Now, I've started it up again, with some help from a good friend who is a BB expert.  Are there any other BB container collectors out there?

I know there must be some interest out there, because there are apparently some informed buyers who seem to snap up the unusual BB container offerings I see on the Internet. There may be a collector's group out there, but in general I haven't seen a chronology, or such that one could match his collecting to.
My interest came from this one posted photo on the site "Trev's Airgun Scrapbook". Probably not all Daisy containers, but they sure are fun to look at when assembled like thisSmile...

Gary,  I am a enthusiastic collector of Daisy BB containers. A Little disappointed that Daisy has not redesigned their tubes in the last 5-6 years as I always looked forward to a new tube design  to buy. Since I live in a state that has banned BB guns since I was a kid (72 years old)  the only thing I can buy is ephemera , catalogs, tags, and bb tubes.  Slim pickings in these parts. When I lived in PA it was different. I still have a Florida address so at least I can get some stuff.   Anyway I was very happy to see your last edition of your book had a chapter on the Daisy BB containers, etc..  Was Great.  If you are looking for something email me.
Some of what I collected over the past 30 years shown below.  The JC Higgins tubes were mine as a kid...

Gumslinger,
That is a great display you posted.  I see some Daisy containers there alright.  Some may be made by Daisy that I don't know about.  I found out today that Daisy made "Revelation" tubes for Western Auto.

Gary
Red Ryder Tube is in the Red Ryder Starter kit sold by Walmart, Daisy, Daisy Museum, Bass Pro, Cabelas etc....  There were two versions of that starter kit.   One had the tube of BB's the other had a tin of BB's.  The tin looked like the tin the Museum put out (I have those) so I got the one with the tube.  I think they still sell both, but if not Ebay is a good place to look.   About $15 for the kit.
It was the only reason I bought that kit!  I wish Daisy sold that tube separately...  They are missing out on a lot of profits, not marketing it.
I should probably take a clearer pic of that display case some rare ones in there.  Lumina, Bulls Eye tubes, etc.  I try to only acquire Daisy containers, or Bulls Eye.  Otherwise I would go broke.  LOL
JC HIGGINS tube from the 50's..  email me again .
Tag is in the mail.
