I was looking at the Daisy parts at JG Airguns and ran across the following description for a rubber piston:

https://www.jgairguns.biz/1000-shot-lever-action-bb-gun-c-78_186_911/dai1894phs-synthetic-piston-seal-p-11432.html

Plunger Head Seal only, for Daisy 26, 572, and 1894. Also fits the 1000 shot lever action BB rifle made in Rogers AR.

My question is, what gun are they describing that I've underlined? I remember the model 27 1000 shot BB gun, but it was made in Plymouth.

TIA, Mark

Is it the wide frame one, often made for Western Auto and painted gold?

I guess it could be. Maybe they wanted to say Model 1000 and it came out as 1000 shot. But as far as I know, the Model 1000 uses the same size seal as the No. 25 pump gun, which they list as DAI25PHS. But then again, I've never been inside of a Model 1000 to know that for sure.

The seal they shown for the 1000 shot gun is DAI1894PHS, so if their listing is actually for the Model 1000, that means it uses a smaller seal set than the 25 pump gun.

I still haven't heard from them.

Mark went thru all my catalogs prior to 1986 and after 1958.   Only 1,000 shot daisy's I found were the No. 98 Eagle and the No. 94 Western Carbine...

Thank you very  much, Rick- that was good of you to research it! I enjoy looking at all the guns, too.
