Terry is relatively new to the world of modified Daisy BB guns. But judging by how this turned out, you'd never know it- he has built a beauty. It began life as a basic model 95, and it has morphed into a one-of-a-kind heirloom.

This shows the outside of the gun:

Below are the handmade internal parts. Click on image to go to the forum post that talks about them:

This shows the gun being shot over the chrony. Readout is meters per second. Multiply by 3.28 gives feet per second (spoiler alert- the chrony shows about 585 fps for that shot):

A lot of hard work went into that rifle! Wow! Stunning wood work. That is some serious FPS for a BB!

Thank you for the kind words Mark and others, greatly appreciated.
I must say it was the colbalt327 spring that that had a lot to do with those big numbers.
I'm thinking if I can get a tighter plunger seal it may hit the 600 mark ?
Thanks again guy's!
Terry

Well, yeah- the HP spring helps, but it was getting very impressive numbers (~ 450 fps, IIRC) even with a standard spring. A standard 1938B spring in the Daisy 499B does ~ 420 fps, as a comparison. The point being, it is a very efficient system you have developed.
