i recently went to an auction and purchased a red ryder carbine rifle no 111 model 40 the crate was sealed in i beleive 1946 or 47 i m guessing from several newspapers found in crate used for packing. i actually wasnt bidding for gun but another article and found gun in same case. can anyone give me a approx. value . it has a cast lever the barrel is blued not painted.and is in very good conditon.itg even has a box of lead bbs with it and some in barrel

Hi It is hard to say without seeing the rifle.It is an older one because of the cast iron cocking lever.Auction sites are good to try and get some idea of value.If you need more info or want to sell it contact me at mmclark2@comcast.net A picture would help alot Steve |
