Good evening,
Just want to thank everyone for their help and advice.
I now have a Red Ryder with a “Super Spring” and 7/64” air tube.
A couple of things I learned through the process.
1). Compressing the Super Spring. I used a compressor made of white plumbing pipe.
To get a good compression on the spring I found that by standing up, placing the compression tool to the inside of my thigh and then pushing down on the barrel allowed me to compress the spring quite a bit.
2). Trigger assembly. By ensuring the bear trap was sung against the frame allowed me to get it under the legs of the plunger without a lot of problems. Once the bear trap is in the right location the trigger readily aligns to the correct position.

Next up for me is my 105 Buck.
Thinking about doing a modified “Grandpas Build like Shane showed on his channel.
New front and rear sights, 1938B anchor and possibly a 499 spring.
Should be easy mods.
Thanks again.

So, Mr.Shail, it may be just a hunch but don't be surprised if you have sleepless nights dreaming up mods for your current (or soon to be acquired) Daisys. BTW there's no shame in it. You're in good company. Enjoy the comrodery.
