Got it shootin', but seems pretty stiff. I'm wondering if the "new" plunger is binding. I may put the old one back in for comparison. Not quite getting the speed I expected, even with an over-bored air tube.

If you converted to rubber seals, I have seen an occasional loss of power compared to leather seals. Say what you will but the leather seals were excellent, as long as they weren't allowed to develop dry rot, or the gun was dry fired with dry seals, that sort of thing.

Earlier, someone here suggested using a drill to spin a 3M pad inside the chamber to polish it and break any glaze that might be present. I wish I could give credit, but I can't remember who it was but I'll do a search to try to find the thread.

You can also use wet emery paper on a hard flat surface to remove material from the face of the piston to lessen friction (arrows show what I call the face). This works because the sides of the piston are tapered, so removing from the face makes the largest part of the piston become smaller. Use plenty of water to flush the paper clean and use a circular motion to remove material evenly. Check the fit often.

While  waiting for parts, it seemed a good time to give the whole thing a (Mark Lee) rust-blue. Too bad I'm not savvy enough to put up a picture, but I'm well pleased how it turned out.

Haven't received anything yet (35 minutes since you posted). Lately my email has been erratic. Outlook is the worst!
