Hi, recently purchased a nice Rogers Ark Daisy model 25.  Have not shot it much, but today after about 10 shots, I cocked it, but it would not shoot.  The trigger had no spring action.  I carefully tried to unscrew the shot tube; could not get it off.  Help!  Thanks.

I actually never fixed the problem; it continued not to fire every 10 bbs or so, and I would have to unscrew the shot tube, and sometimes a bb would roll out. Without the shot tube (which I had cleaned very well), it would cock and fire 30 times straight.  I recently purchased the new Daisy 25, and as an experiment, tried the new, modern shot tube in the old gun (a "hunting dog" 25 from the early 90"s?).  It shoots every time with the new shot tube, and I guess I'm going to buy a new shot tube, and put it into the old gun.
