That was a great write-up, Mark. Not just a good description of the Li'L Duke but a wonderful comparison with the Red Ryder. I was always curious about that gun but still am hooked on the RR. Thanks so much for your critique.

Thanks guys- I'm all "aww, shucks" here!

If the gun had just been made to be disassembled, I'm sure I could have found a place for it. But the buttstock on mine was none too tight and it was new, over time I know it would have gotten even looser and with no way to simply snug it back down, well, that's a deal breaker for me.

I  found one! The Duke 1894 Marv, at an auction in Co.  along with a Winchester model 1894 new in box. looking forward to there arrival!
