Ive got a couple of the Model 1894's. One made in 1977 and one made in 1979. Both guns are in pristine condition and I shoot them reguarly. The one made in 77 has the typical, dark blue paint seen on most Daisys of the period but the one made in 79 has a unique, dark gray metallic paint finish. Ive never seen this before. It is very attractive and 100% original to the gun. Anyone else have one with this paint? Also, does anyone have a picture of an original box for one made in 1979. I have a first issue, 1960-61 box that is in decent shape that I would be willing to trade for one. Thanks

I remember the gray ones. Had one years ago. Think they are fairly rare

Well, I found one for sale with this gray finish that says it was made in 1960 but mine has a register number of G900925 which I thought was for 1979 but now i realize that I got Reg. and Lot no. mixed up. Any idea when it was made? Thanks
