I bought a lot of 3 daisy bb guns on ebay.  2 are 1894's & one is red ryder no. 111 model 40 which I have not received yet  My question is, looking at the pictures, one of the 1894's appears to have scope mount spot welded to top of receiver which is the rear part of the barrel assembly. What did I buy?

Thank You for your help

I'm no expert, but the only 1894 with a scope mount I'm aware of is marked as a Sears Roebuck and Co. Model No. 799.19051. Hopefully someone with more knowledge on the 1894 can help.

Hi Mark;
 After more research on the net, that is what I am finding. The seller said they were 1894's and I did not notice the scope base on one until later The scope base should be a nice feature. I think I am going to get a Daisy Winchester 4 X 32 AO Air gun scope and put on it. Our local Academy Sports shows them in stock

Thanks for replying

Nice deal, you don't see them very often.

I have several Daisy Sears scope mount guns and they both are Model # 799.19051 and one is late 60's with the red colored stock and forearm and one is early 70's with the tan colored plastic.  Neither one has the saddle ring on the left receiver cover.
   Also I have the Daisy 1894 with the scope mount and it is late 60's - early 70's and it has the saddle ring on it.  All of them I mounted the Daisy 4X15 scope, it would be appropriate to use that scope, and it looks right for the gun.
