I was asked if the new style model No. 25 shot tube will work in the model 40- and I don't know the answer, so if anyone can educate me I'd appreciate it!

Yes just tried that and they do physically fit. Of course the original ones were meant for lead bb's so don't know if that makes a difference.

Thanks a lot- I appreciate it. One concern I had was whether the air tube diameter would be too large to enter the shot tube like I've seen on some very early model No. 25 guns that were also made to shoot lead shot.
