Hello Forum,

I recently purchased a 1977 Daisy Model 95 off ebay.  The gun is in great condition and amazingly accurate but I wish the stock was longer.  As an adult the 12.5 inch length of pull is just too short.  I was hoping to find a factory bolt on replacement for the original stock.  The Daisy Quick Skill and the Daisy 499B (currently available) seem to have similar receiver bodies.  Does anyone know if the stocks from these two guns will bolt directly on to my Model 95?  The second questions is...how would I find one?  Any other suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Unless you have an early 95B with the plastic trigger, the 499 stock won't fit your 95 without work. The difference is the "beltline" of the 95B and 499B are straight, where the earlier 95 (no suffix) has a step, see photo.

A stock from a model 99 would work as-is. They are a sort of Monte Carlo style, they have a little more LOP, and use a straight lever. The model 96 has a similar stock, but it uses a curved lever.

Thanks Cobalt.  I wish I would have found this out before ordering a 499 stock from Daisy this week.  Daisy said it would fit for my Mod 95 but it does have that second step.  Could be a problem.

Cobalt, I need at least an extra inch of lenght of trigger pull from my Model 95.  Do you know of any butt extensions (or pads) that would fit this stock?  The diminsions at the end of the butt are approximately 1 3/8" by 3 7/8".  Thanks.

One option would be to modify the 499B stock to fit. I don't know of any stock pads that fit, sorry.

Just a thought. Maybe find a beat up stock and cut up some wood to add to the end of it. Glue it and screw it to the stock, sand ,stain. May not be real pretty but would work and might be fun to do

Thats a great idea.  I wish I still had access to my High Schools woodshop....lol  I may find an older beat up M95 stock and try it...then I have 2.
