Need help id this BB rifle

   Hello,
  When going through my father's attic I found this old BB gun. Don't know if it is a Daisy because there is no manufacturer's mark anywhere. Does anyone know who made this BB gun & how old it is? I have copied a jpeg pic of  rifleto this posting . It is a close up by the trigger. It has an elk & other animals engraved/molded into the metal and "1900" is also engraved/molded on it.
