Plastic stocks

Russ, I apologize for my post- I didn't realize you had a suitable stock available- even though I thought I had read your post! Anyway, I have edited my post and I haven't heard anything from him so he's probably not been back here yet.

   I had the opportunity to dissect a couple of 1894 stocks to see how they stiffened them inside to eliminate warpage compared to the model 25.   There is nothing inside the stocks like foam or rejected BBs and shot.  They have good crisscross pattern in them and a set of stiffeners that cross each other for support.  Over all they hold up very good, the dark reddish colored ones are from the 60's and the light brown or buckskin colored ones are 70's to 80's.  I have found a few that have gotten very hot and have started to collapse and set a crisscross pattern in the plastic but surprisingly they didn't warp bad like the 25's did.  The series of pictures will show that.
