Any suggestions for a plunger spring for a 102-36 I believe it is 7 “

The spring used in the 1938B Red Ryder and 105B Buck is also 7" long. If you can tell me the diameter of the wire the original spring is made of and how many coils the spring has, I can tell you if the 1938B spring will be a good replacement.

The spring for 102-36 is 7” long , dia. 5/64, 22 coils. Rodgers, ark

Okay, the 1938B Red Ryder spring will be a good replacement, has a little more power and has flat-ground ends to make it sit square and easier to install. If you send me an email I will get one out to you. cobalt237 at hotmail dot com
