Gentlemen, this book is a must have in my humble opinion.  I use mine all the time as a reference when I am thinking about making a daisy purchase or come across something a little unusual.  Thanks Gary!

That is the third edition. Came out two years ago. I got a signed copy from Gary for $125, I think. I use it all the time. It is an excellent reference and great fun to read. Now I'm thinking hmmmmmm. $740 profit.....or handy reference?? Hmmmmm....??

I did the same as the fuse. I'll never get rid of it. It's awesome.

What are the chances we could get up 100 people who would commit to buying a copy? Because that's all it'll take for Gary Garber to make another run of them. I know I'd be in...

Wonder what they would sell for.
I already have one but might be tempted to get another one, especially if it had some updates.

Good question. I only had a short email conversation with Gary Garber and I didn't ask. But I suspect it wouldn't be a great deal more than what the last edition cost. And you can bet it'll be a lot less than what we've seen them sell for on eBay, etc...

Daisy Encyclopedia-
Great book but for the price that guy on ebay is asking you would think it was a first edition of the Gutenberg Bible!

Some time ago, I mentioned to Gary Garber that his book could easily sell for $1000 one day; seems that I was not far off

And you don't have to spend $500 to get one!--

The book An Encyclopedia of Daisy Plymouth Guns is again available for purchase directly from the author.  This is a reprint of the third edition.  All of the ones currently available are hard backs.  There is a new chapter on BBs, which is written by Bob Boccaccio, the premier expert on air rifle shot.  The price is $140, plus $16.95 for USPS Priority, insured shipping (the book weighs about five pounds).  If interested, please send a money order for $156.95 to:

EBay certainly is a place to get top dollar. But with their restrictions most people can't sell there.

Seems to be no real rhyme or reason why some sellers can but others cannot sell air guns there. IIRC, someone mentioned the seller's 'status' being a factor (maybe referring to power sellers, or something along those lines?) but I've seen BB guns being sold- complete and advertised as such- by sellers having far less than 'power seller' ranking. In fact I just bought a nearly mint 107 from just such a seller. Go figure...

A friend of mine, that is definitely not a big time seller, lists and sells his airguns on fleabay. they have loosened their restrictions recently. You still have to jump through hoops but it may be worth it. He just sold a bog standard Cr 350 for $455!!! It simply kept bidding up. Ego is a funny and sometimes detrimental thing..........unless you are on the selling end.
