Here's a listing I just published on CRAIG'S LIST,
TOLEDO, under "Daisy Pop gun, fake BB gun"
Here's a Daisy POP GUN that NEVER appears for sale.
Extremely limited version.
The gun is an imitation of the famous 1894 Winchester.
Has gold receiver sides with the word DAISY, and a picture of a buffalo.
Gun cocks, fires, and sounds like the real thing.
No BB...no, you won't shoot your eye out !
Want more pics or more information? Ask

I've sent pics and asked for info to Bakers Airguns and COWBOY PAPA, and several others...no answers from anyone. Ever see one ?
Any information?  HELP !!!!

(Note...I can't post pics here...sorry)

I believe it came out around '61, give or take. At least some had smoke and bang.

Some info from a thread here at Daisy Talk: http://forum.daisymuseum.com/daisy-model-694_topic4008.html" rel="nofollow - http://forum.daisymuseum.com/daisy-model-694_topic4008.html

Marv, about a year ago pabirdman had one for sale on GB along with maybe a model 95 as a package deal. It wasn't too costly but the receiver (gold/brown) halves had fair sized chunks broken away. I have never seen a pristine one with that particular gold/brown graphic on it for sale but I've seen the occasional plain receiver specimens up for grabs.

Can you tell me the origin of this pic?
I have consulted Howard May (Cowboy PAPA) and Dennis Baker. Neither has ever seen one.
Is this your box and gun?
Can't find ANY thing on Google.

Sadly it's not mine. It was found in a google https://www.google.com/search?q=daisy+model+694&newwindow=1&rlz=1T4GGHP_enUS731US731&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjZ6Lrxv9vTAhXBz4MKHVKrCtQQ_AUIDCgD&biw=1316&bih=549#imgrc=iCknOBW9ofEaXM:&spf=227" rel="nofollow - image search for 'daisy model 694'. The photo was from an auction site, https://www.hakes.com/Auction/ItemDetail/93609/DAISY-LAWMAN-LEVER-GUN-BOXED-RIFLE" rel="nofollow - here .

For posterity:

You and I must have the only 2 on the planet.
Just contacted Stu Gabriel (Mrgun)...he said he has never seen one and has no info.
Suggested I contact Daisy Museum.
More Monday after the call....

Hey Marv
I did some search and cowboy papaw had sold one so I don't know where he says he has never heard of one.Don't get all excited on this as there are others out there.Saw your ad on graigslist, don't think that will happen. You gotta understand that Daisy collectors are more interested in bb guns and pop guns are an after thought. There is not a lot of info out there on the toy guns. Again, there is asking price and there is a getting price

Steve,
Just now talked to folks at Daisy Museum.
They have NO RECORDS, no information whatsoever.
Said there is very little historical data available for any of the Pop Guns, but that it probably is very limited and desirable with collectors.
On 7/19/2012 HAKES COLLECTIBLE sold one on an internet auction for $411.
On 11/14/14 one was sold on internet for $385, and just the empty box sold for $255 on e-bay 3/14/17.

Hey Marv
I have seen those for the LAWMAN rifle and believe the tie in is with the old TV show LAWMAN which makes it more collectable then the other 964s. It is called a cross over collectable. Have seen other 964s going for 65.00 and not sold on ebay and gunbroker.I have the Buffalo Bill one and think it would be worth more then a plain jane model as someone with a Buffalo Bill bb rifle would like to have it. Also some times auctions get out of hand.I had a rifle up for auction on GB and listed it for 100.00 and felt lucky if I could get a little  more then that. Two guys got into it and it went for 275.00. It is funny as I see people getting real good prices on this stuff on ebay but good luck trying to list there. I have an old Zorro pop gun made by Daisy and saw it on one of those other auctions and it went for over 400.00. Only one I can find that was sold, but like my buddy who sold old cars used to say, there is an a$$ for evey seat. Wish you luck with it

I've been "suspended" from e-bay 5-6 times in the last few years...once for listing an empty box.
Do you think I could get away with listing it as a TOY?
If I do list, I'm thinking of putting a starting price of $299 and a reserve of about $500. I don't reallywant to sell, but interested in seeing if there is a "demand".

Hey Marv
Why not try gunbrokers. You can try ebay but to be honest I don't think it is going to sell at that price.I am going to list mine on GB real soon and will list for 100.00 .If I get that I would be real happy

I just saw a No. 964 pop gun on ebay, it has a white stock and forearm. It's a light frame gun, not like the 1894, more like the Annie Oakley model 967 than anything else I have photos of.

This 964 was sold at Cowboy PaPaw's:

This is the 964 on ebay:

Marv,  I have one like cobalt listed, new in box. Mine says Buffalo Scout Carbine  mod. 94. no reg. #s.  the box is opened faced. like it had a clear wrap around it.  had mine since 2007 from the Daisy get together in Mich.  I don't know any thing else about it.  bought it because it was different and new in box.

Love the Daisy toy guns. I collected a lot of them. To me they were just as fun as collecting the BB guns. Most of them had a tie in to tv which made them at times more interesting then the BB guns. Still have the Zorro pop gun. Dare anyone to find another one HE HE HE

Mark,
Your right it is a 61 maybe 62 gun.  The Lawman TV series ran from 1958 to 1962 so it looks like they issued the gun towards the end of the series run.  The receivers are the first release from Daisy and being very weak on the rear tangs, so they did a change and beefed them up but as we all know they still failed but it took a while longer than the first version.
The High Chaparral gun was sold by Cowboy PaPaw and I borrowed it from the internet.  I didn't even know they made one for that series.  The picture of the Zorro gun is also from the internet.

I guess the Zorro gun was not real popular as you just can't find them or much less any info. Gonna keep it or maybe the Daisy museum would like it lol

Funny about the receivers as they did the same thing on the 1894 bb guns also
