Where can I go to find old Daisy owner/instruction manuals for the Golden Eagle and Buck Jones Special? I have contacted Daisy Customer Service and the Daisy Museum and neither have the manuals available. I can be contacted at 281-536-3337 or mkd37@comcast.net.

Any documentation related to either. I also have an old Daisy 27 for which I'd also like to get some documentation.

There weren't any real "owner's manuals" prior to the 1970's or 1980's.  Most folks didn't need them to understand how to operate their guns and the lawyers were yet to run amok with suits.

Here is a good link to schematics for many of the older guns.

As far as repairs, most of the old and current guns are disassembled like the Model 99.  There is a Model 99 disassembly manual on page 4, I believe, of that link.

Even though there were external differences, the innards are identical, except for the Buck Jones Model 107 "trombone action" guns.

Remove the non-plunger parts, compress the plunger spring to release the anchor pin and then remove the plunger.

Then fix whatever needs it.

The Model 25, Model 107, and Model 1894 are a little trickier, but not insurmountable.

Good luck and let us know if we can help.

You're more than welcome, Mark.  If you are the least little bit handy, it's not hard to work on these guns.  Plus, it's fun.

I got started down this trail about 3 months ago when I dug my Model 99 (Christmas gift from my grandfather in 1962 when I was 3) out of my parents' closet after 40+ years.

I used the Model 99 manual from the above link and some new seals to get it back in brand new shooting shape.

Your No. 3 Model 27 is what's called a reverse cocker, that's to say the gun's spring is compressed as the lever is closed as opposed to when it's opened. The mechanism is somewhat different on account of this. You will be okay as long as you take notes and I'd recommend taking photos as well. It will have leather seals unless someone changed them, so be gentle when handling the plunger. If the seals are intact and not dry rotted or broken, they will likely still be okay to reuse. Leather seals rely on oil to keep them operational so if they look dry but otherwise intact, give them some oil and let it soak in. 20 or 30w ND is recommended but FWIW I use Mobil 1 5w-20 synthetic.

The model 99 repair manual https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/grantthekiwisairgunforum/dave-albert-daisy-resource-t3831-s30.html#p9495" rel="nofollow - (CLICK HERE) that BSAGuy mentioned is as close as you can get to your 95. Immediately below it is a second repair manual that covers a wider range of gravity feed BB guns, you may find it useful as well. And below that is yet another manual so you can check them all out.

THIS IS A COPY OF THE INSIDE OF THE HANG-TAG (I SELL THE TAGS ON EBAY IF INTERESTED)
THIS HAS INSTRUCTIONS AND PARTS LIST AND WAS CONSIDERED THE MANUAL!

Parts list and operation instructions for Golden Eagle..Hang Tag was the only information Daisy
provided.  There were no such thing as a manual in 1936.  (hang tag I sell on ebay if interested.)

Thanks for that info, Rick.  I didn't know what was inside the hang tags.  I had seen the other stuff on Grant, the Kiwi's forum.
