I think it was made in the 1920's but I could be mistaken.

I think you mean model 72
I do not know much about this model except there are two variations of this gun. One has a brass end and the other has a silver colored end may be steel or tin.

I SHOW A MODEL 71 WATER PISTOL,5 1/4" LONG MADE OF STEEL IN 1928. PAT. #1662067

DAISY #72 SQUIRT AND POP GUN COMBO. 8 1/2" LONG MADE OF STEEL 20'S OR 30'S.

the model 8 was patented on june 22,1915
