Is there such a thing as a Daisy gun (rifle) that shoots air soft plastic pellets?

Yes indeed. I don't know what are currently made but, the Daisy Airgun Collector's Guide (2015) has several from page 51 to 56.

Yes, I have seen a number of them on eBay. They were shell loading/ejecting guns. The plastic airsoft BB was in the cartridge.

Also was an UZI & 357 revolver. Were sold in the late 1980's. Not sure why they stopped producing them. They looked interesting.
