Discouraging (and angry)...gotta share this story. I have won at HI-BID auction 3 Red Ryders since early July. #1...auction house says shipper won't send because it's a firearm !!!! #2...still waiting for UPS store to pick up gun at auction site ...since July 16. #3... I bid way to much ($135) on the Red Ryder in the tooled leather scabbard several weeks ago...just got a message today that charges to send by UPS will be $56.50...less than 100 miles away!

Would be interesting to hear if others are having satisfactory, or similar, results.

in several states like mine airguns are specifically classified as firearms - a Red Ryder requires the same licensing + requirements as a semi auto centerfire rifle - where was the auction located ? -

Marv, it's a crapshoot, especially cross border and ESPECIALLY E-crap. We can buy them here at the nearest store so I don't get it. I've had vintage toy/cap guns stopped in their tracks by their so called Global shipping program. Might as well have ordered grenades to see the panicked messages they send out. Our days are gone.
