Heys Guys!
I'm new to this forum so be gentle
I bought a beat up Red Ryder vatiation 7 the other day. Its missing the forearm and the buttstock is badly cracked/warped. Would it be ethical to install a wooden stock and handguard?
Does anyone on this forum have a stock set for sale? Thanks
Ben

As to ethics, it all depends on what you plan on doing with the carbine. I have some wood and plastic stocks and forearms, while the wood is not perfect, the plastic is in good shape. I will send photos to your email address if you are interested

If you could send pics that would be great! My intentions with the carbine is to shoot it and enjoy it. Its too rough to be a collector gun but I love it!

I had to smile at your comment of joy with that old gun; I have bid and won some old barn yard and attic finds just for the pleasure of owning the seemingly worn and beat up specimens, only to find that they were great shooters. I will dig up some forearms and stocks and send you the photos.

I prefer a gun with some battle scars and imperfections as long as it still shoots or is easly fixable.when I hold them and shoot them it brings back wonderful memories of the past and I cant help but wonder who had that old bb gun and what stories it could tell. And then I relize somewhere someone has bound to have one of mine that got away from me at some point and he or she is holding it in wonderment rembering when things were happier and so so simple. When I die lay a model 25 on my chest and tell everyone this ole daisy lover has gone to rest. But hopfuly not to soon.
