I recently learned that in the 3rd quarter of 2017 the Daisy airgun number (no longer called "LOT NO.) format changed yet again. Now it contains 16 digits and a letter suffix. The first two digits indicate the factory, the next two are the year, then a production sequence/QC number and finally the letter indicating the month.

I happened to see a Diana Stormrider with its number showing. The Stormrider is made in China by a company commonly referred to as SPA, which stands for Snow Peak Airguns. The Stormy's number follows the exact same format as 2017-up Daisy airgun models!

So it seems that these guns marketed as Daisy and Diana are in fact made at the same place.

2018 May Diana Stormrider

2018 Aug. 1938B Red Ryder

Ain't that a kick? haha

That's some sharp detective work, Cobalt.  Thanks for sharing your observation.

After posting the info above, a member at GTA posted the link below. Turns out, Daisy is SPA's biggest customer. Seems that the arrangement began in 2006, which is also the same time Daisy began stamping “Made in China”. https://www.importgenius.com/suppliers/shaoxing-snowpeak-airgun-factory

Hanna from Daisy CS said back in 2017 that Gamo acquired Daisy in 2016 and that Gamo was moving to Rogers AR where a facility was built to accommodate Gamo, BSA, and NAP, along with Daisy, Winchester and First Nature. So it all seems to jibe.
