Looking for a shot tube for 111 model 40.  Dad gave me this gun when I was 10….72 years ago. Now the bb rolls out of the barrel when I tip the muzzle down.  Worn out I guess.

Sounds like to me your shot tube is missing the shot retainer spring as shown below at the end of the shot tube.  Unscrew the shot tube, remove and check that your shot tube has or does not have the retainer spring.  If it is missing it is a quick fix with a $5 part..
