There are some custom built stocks and forearms on e-bay, built for the Daisy 105. Will a 105 stock fit on the Daisy 1938B?

It should. I believe the receivers are the same. The 1938B has a longer barrel and a fake under-barrel magazine.

Thanks....I have over 100 Daisy Red Ryders and not a single 105. I'm going to take a chance.

Russ, Now how about the levers. Could you replace a straight plastic 105 with a curved plastic 1938B?  (If you also replaced the stock with a 1938B?)

Or...to make things simple...replace the stock and lever on the 105 with parts from 1938B.

The modern levers all have the same depth and pivot point. The straight ones fit the straight stocks and the curved ones fit the curved stocks. I have even interchanged the plastic and aluminum ones. Heck, Ive scabbed oned from the toy 960's and they fit the BB guns. I think DAISY decided to to save production costs and used a boat load of the same parts on many guns. BTW, I've interchanged levers on the 1938B RED RYDERSs, 105 BUCKs, and 95, 96, 99s, etc.

If you have a BUCK and you want to put a RED RYDER stock on it to make it bigger and cooler? I say GO FOT IT!!

Marv, I think I misunderstood. You want to put a BUCK 105 stock on a RED RYDER? That should also work but the 105 doesn't have a factory forearm and no fake magazine. If the custom forearm was made for the 105, and is not routed for a fake magazine, you may have to do a little fenageling. You could always remove the magazine tube from the RR, if necessary.

Russ, You were right first time. The fella who is selling those custom stocks says they will fit the 105.
I want to use them on a 1938B. He doesn't have a 1938 to compare and I don't have the 105. We'll get it figured out. Marv

That would be an 1894 'Golden Spike' for those wondering.
