Has anyone ever seen a Model 1894 with a silver receiver & the name 'JOHN WAYNE' engraved on one side & 'AMERICAN' on the other?

Winchester made one like that but it's a real gun.  Daisy had a model 1894 "100 years of John Wayne" on the stock and "The Duke" on the forearm.  These were laser engraved and made  from 2007 - 2010.  They released 3000 or them.  I don't know what the receivers look like on the Daisy 1894.

Dennis
I have #120 of the John Wayne Daisy Commemorative Issue.
The right side of the receiver Has the printing"
"WINCHESTER, Air Rifle"
"Winchester is a registered trademark used under a liscense by Daisy"
and then steps 1-7 to fire the gun"

The left side has the printing
"WARNING, Not a Toy, and then 5 lines of safety instructions, etc."
The receiver is a sorta dull black paint, not the shiny finish like the barrel has.

Wish I knew how to post pix on this site which would make things much easier. The best description I can give is; the receiver, lever, trigger, & butt plate are silver, & the barrel (octagonal) & loading tube look identical to a Sears 'Golden Boy' or 'Spike', although I am not certain the front sight is adjustable. The butt plate is much narrower in depth than those on the Sears guns.

'AMERICAN' is engraved on the right side of the receiver, & 'JOHN WAYNE' on the left, in caps & looks similar to THIS TYPE SCRIPT. My thoughts are someone either had the gun engraved or a prototype.

Clarification; Model 1894 as in the Daisy Model 1894 'Spittin Image'.

Hi Yng.

There's a thread that might be helpful regarding posting pictures:

And, there's a picture of a Daisy Duke commemorative in this post:

Here are a couple of pix I posted over on GTA. Not the best but all I have to work with.

Marv, that's the one The Duke.

Yng@hrt, I'm not sure about your 1894, maybe some laser work was done.  Does it have the plastic cocking lever and the safety switch on the right side receiver?  Does it have light colored plastic stock and forearm or wooden stock and forearm?  I went to the site you mentioned and signed in but right now I'm in the process of giving one testicle in order to look at pictures on the site.  It's tough to get the ok to use it, may have to go through a controller and then they'll ok it.

Twocompassheads- metal cocking lever. No safety switch on right side of receiver. Light colored plastic stock & forearm.

Quite honestly it looks like someone buffed the receiver's metal clam shells, lever, & butt plate of a golden boy or golden spike & had John Wayne engraved on one side & American on the other. The only difference I can see is a black forearm band instead of a gold colored cap.

BTW; I am very familiar with 100 Years of John Wayne Winchester Commemorative. This one is nothing like it. Again, looks like a GB or GS that's been buffed to expose the silver metal finish of the receiver, lever & butt plate.
