Well, it isn't a direct "match", but it has been known to get a gun or two working again. ;)

Glen, I'll try to get it out in the mail tomorrow.  You might want to edit that post and take your address out.. ya know, being the web and all :)

Yes, the trigger lifts the elevator, lining up the bb it picked up in the magazine with the barrel, working against that top spring.  When it gets high enough, the shot is released, the valve resets, and the spring pushes the elevator back down to get the next bb.

Anyone else need some as well?  Drop an email to Ltssvn at gmail dot com.

Good find, BurghDude- and a nice gesture as well! The link shows the spring specs. Working from that, the spring is made by Midwest Fastener, specs are:

3/16” diameter
1-1/2" long
0.020" wire
24 total coils
2.13 Lb/In approximate spring rate

On Menard's site it shows up as:

Model Number: 88012, SKU: 2018485

Dear diary, have things IN HAND before offering them.

Sorry, Glen, I can't find them anywhere. I thought I knew where they were. I'd been tripping over them for 3 years, and now they're gone. Not like me to throw things like that out. If I find them I'll definitely let you know and send a couple, but right now, Cobalt's link might be your best bet. Again, sorry!

Shouldn't be too hard to find one using the specs above if there's no Menards around.

Fastenal shows a similar spring, same wire diameter and spring OD, 1.75" long and 25 coils. It has a spring rate of 1.94 Lb/In.

Luck was with me, I was able to find a 200 on ebay and it was complete and sold for parts only.  So, really all that needed was the elevator spring.  The piston was frozen and had to punch it out.  Got all the crud off and lubed it up real good.  Works like a new one!  Thanks for all the help from all you Forum Daisy lovers.

Almost like a new one.  Will only load up 4 BB's, any solutions?  As for gas leaks, use only Daisy Cartridges vs Crosman.  Much better.  Thanks

Jimmie, if you see this, I would appreciate it if you could email me (it's in my profile). I have a question concerning the Daisy 1200 piercing cup assembly and the O-ring that goes under it.

Thanks in advance, Mark

I've always stuck 1200 piercers in 200's.Works a treat. The Daisy 200 has one of the cleverest double-action mechanisms to be found on an airgun. You'd swear you were shooting a true semi-auto!
