Hi,
I am new to the forum so please excuse me of I do not post correctlly.
I have a pair of Daisy Targeteers that I believe date to the 40's? They appear to be
unused. What puzzles me is that they are in a holster with a belt and there is a right and left
Holster for each gun. Any info appreciated

Daisy Targeteer pistols were marketed from 1937-1956, excepting the WW II years.  Retailers, such as Sears, Montgomery Wards, and Spiegel's, sold them as single and double holster sets.  I sent an example of a Spiegel 1956 catalog advertisement to your email address.  Hope this helps.

Targeteers made before WWII have a non adjustable rear sight.
Those made after WWII have an adjustable (often missing) rear sight.
You don't find them with the original holsters (especially a pair) very often.
